Stuffed *****

Once again a fantastic welcome from Louise and her crew, they seated us quickly and explained that a large table had just placed their order and that there might be a little wait for food, which is absolutely fine!!! We ordered 8 tapas between two of us, which was all beautiful (and if honest too much but as it was all gorgeous, it was all consumed, and there was still room for the trio of desserts!) I love coming here for date night, girls gossip night and have even suggested it to work for the Christmas party! If you want fresh, delicious, value for money food with fantastic friendly staff- look no further!!
Lou though I will say- your lemon posset pots need to be bigger...please consider the pasta pot idea!!!! :)

Wow *****

the food is amazing , having my father say it was better than tapas in barcelona is all i have to say but the service is better than the food (if possible) . none of the manager chain staff etc , just 2 owners putting 100% into your enjoyment and even making sure you do not order too much. i will be back very soon

“Excellent friendly tapas bistro”

Ate here with friends last month. Neither friends were keen on tapas (little did I know) but both were converted and really enjoyed the food and ambience. We'll be back.
Moroccan lamb and Trio dessert are both to die for. Well done guys
“Consistently amazing! ”

We LOVE this place, food is so so tasty and the service is always friendly from Lou! The dishes are generously portioned and very tasty, we've been a few times now and never had a bad meal or experience, highly recommend for anyone dining out for tapas! Should be number one in Cheadle without a doubt!!
“Two visits since last review.”

I read with some amusement someone had travelled "all the way from Buxton" and was disappointed with the service when advised to order a few dishes at a time. We regularly travel to Spain and many times out of ten The New Olive Tree's tapas is more enjoyable.
The service and food in this small restaurant are second to none hence our regular visits.
It's closed Monday and Tuesday but make sure you pay a visit any other time.
Oh, by the way, they do Sunday roast if tapas ain't your bag but call and tell them you want a roast.
“Never fails to impress”

Have been weekly for the last month and this little gem of a restaurant never fails to impress me or my partner, the food is always consistently fabulous and the specials have been 'special', The trio of amazing puds is a massive hit too, my children love the place especially eating in the cellar, the staff are always helpful enthusiastic and friendly Thank you Martin & Lou you are doing a great job
“Wonderful night out”

We went on a Friday night with friends to celebrate a birthday. The food was excellent - hot all served together and extremely tasty. There was plenty for two in dish. The service was first class and Lou, the owner went out of her way to make you feel at home. The wine we had with the meal was lovely and Lou helped with the choice. This is the best tapas we have been to outside of Spain!
“Hidden gem”

This was my second visit to the new olive tree and I have to say this is truly a little gem of a place to go to if your passing through or just around for the afternoon/evening, the food is phenomenal, the flavours that come from the dishes are EPIC! Don't get me started on the desserts
The owners and staff are very hospitable and are super attentive.
The prices are reasonable and just an all round great place to go eat.
